Confirmation Program:
"Zion follows a "longer and later" style of confirmation instruction
to achieve it's goal of empowering parents and sponsors to fulfill the
promises made to their child at Baptism.
"You should, therefore, faithfully bring him to the services of
God's house, and teach her the Lord's Prayer, the Creed, and the Ten
commandments. As he grows in years, you should place in her hand the Holy
Scriptures and provide for his instruction in the Christian faith, that,
living in the covenant of her Baptism and in communion with the church, he
may lead a godly life until the day of Jesus Christ." LBW p. 121
